What is Asteria?
Asteria is a wedding planning platform where you build your wedding rather than just list it. Pick a venue, add suppliers and packages, and watch your total update as you go. When you are happy, you book and pay through Asteria.
Is it free for couples?
Yes — creating an account, building and comparing weddings is free for couples.
Can I build more than one version of my wedding?
Yes. Create as many builds as you like — a summer villa wedding and a winter manor wedding, for example — and compare them side by side before you commit.
Do I need a budget to start?
No. Adding a budget is optional. If you do add one, Asteria shows what is allocated and what is left as you build.
How do payments work?
Deposits and balances are paid securely by card through Asteria using Stripe. Each supplier sets their own deposit, and you can see what is paid and what is due in My Wedding.
How do contracts work?
Suppliers can share their contract with you through Asteria, and you can sign it online. Signed copies are saved to both accounts.
I am a supplier — how do I join?
Register your interest as a supplier and we will be in touch about listing your business, packages and availability ahead of launch.
Is there an app?
Asteria launches on the web first, with iPhone and Android apps to follow using the same account.
